ABOUT

Hi, I’m Bella — and I grew up where the wild things are.

Not the New York City you’re picturing. Think Adirondack peaks, backcountry trails, and the kind of quiet that only exists miles from the nearest road. That’s where my love for the outdoors was born, and honestly, it never really had a chance to be anything else.

But here’s the thing — for a long time, I let that love collect dust. I was the person who’d plan the trip, research every trail, and then wait. Wait for a friend’s schedule to open up, for the “right” moment, for someone else to take the first step. The unknown felt less like an adventure and more like a risk I wasn’t ready to take.

I’m not that person anymore.

These days, you’ll find me chasing the things that used to make my stomach drop — launching out of a plane at 15,000 feet, standing on a summit I’ve never set foot on before, saying yes before I’ve had time to talk myself out of it. Turns out the adrenaline I was avoiding? It’s the best part.

This blog is my way of sharing that shift — and hopefully sparking one in you. Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or someone who’s been waiting for the right moment to start, consider this your nudge. Get outside. Do the thing that scares you. The trail doesn’t care how ready you feel.
